I visited a tea store in Guelph, ON called The Bon The Place( www.teasoftheworld.ca ) last week and found a whole wall of teas......oolong, green, rooibus, herbal, detox, black and many other varieties. I am getting away from coffee in the morning so I picked up a masala chai which is delicious. I also picked up a sencha fruity that has hints of pineapple and feels a little tropical as a green tea. While I was in the store the woman working there came by with a hot sample of milk oolong, a semi-fermented tea. This was my first experience with semi or fermented teas and I really liked it. Oolong tea has a multitude of health benefits including good dental health and bones, reducing obesity, control of diabetes and high cholesterol. They believe is it the polyphenols in oolong. Here is a link to the interesting information I found about this new tea in my repertoire ( http://www.organicfacts.net/health-benefits/beverage/health-benefits-of-oolong-t...
