My Cup O Tea

Over the years I have become a fan of tea.  My favourites are non-caffeine.  Green Teas, herbal teas and rooibus.  Almost any loose leaf tea will do.  I once got chamomile tea from a friends parents and it was really just a whole baggie of chamomile flowers.....it was from a place in Sarnia, Ontario but I am not sure exactly where.  It just seems so much fresher when you can recognize it by sight.... In June while on vacation I found a tea store selling hand tied leaves.  What a fantastic aroma of jasmine.  It is the Madame Butterfly tea by Capital Teas (www.capitalteas.com).  It was very expensive and I just couldn't afford it but they certainly had lots of great teas. My most recent vacation in Florida found me in the Spice and Tea Exchange (www.spiceandtea.com) where I purchased a small bag of loose leaf hazelnut cookie tea.  Ceylon black base so not my usual herbal but wonderful smell and tastes very rich.  An enjoyable tea....

2014: Adventure!

Last year I used the word "move" for the year and I moved in all kinds of directions, had a few accomplishments but mostly just made a lot of changes. Happy New Year! They say life is an adventure so this year I want to take that word to heart and have some big adventures.  I would like to pursue a trip to Nicaragua, learn spanish and complete yoga teacher training.  If I have a chance I would also like to get back to the salsa dancing and do some pilates training as well. I am going to focus on health and wellness this year.  Over the years I have dabbled with aromatherapy, yoga, meditation, reiki, organic gardening, gourmet local cooking and I receive great enjoyment from each and every one of these things and I am going to pursue a lifestyle.  I once had a friend who suggested I was a granola bunny......and maybe now it is finally time to see what that really means. I want my life to be grounded, grateful and by the ocean.
