I am cooking from the ingredients I have!

I found a website that allows you to put in the ingredients you have in your kitchen and then gives you recipes to use them.  I have added the gadget to my blog if you want to check out how it works.  I am going to try it because I am always trying to find new ways to prepare all the things I like to eat in my kitchen.  It takes recipes from a multitude of good cooking sites such as Martha Stewart, Epicurious, All recipes and more.
this week I will try the puffed pancake with strawberries and I don't have to check because Supercook already figured that out for me......

700 Hours of Learning....start now!

Here goes I am embarking on a two year adventure into myself and the world around me through yoga, massage, coaching and other modalities.  With this journey comes a great reading list and journaling.  This is not something I have ever been able to keep up, with much regularity, as you can see from my posts here.....lol One day I may succeed as I continue to practice for the next two years. I have received the reading list and am happy to have just finished Yoga Sequencing:  Designing Transformative Yoga Classes by Mark Stephens.  This book was suggested to me and for obvious reason, it is incredibly informative.  As a beginning yoga teacher it provided great pictures and foundations for infinite classes that I am now able to create.  It will continue to be on my bookshelf as an excellent reference,and I could reread it still getting useful information a second or third time.  Now I will delve further into this genre of reading with Yoga Anatomy by L...

My Cup O Tea

Over the years I have become a fan of tea.  My favourites are non-caffeine.  Green Teas, herbal teas and rooibus.  Almost any loose leaf tea will do.  I once got chamomile tea from a friends parents and it was really just a whole baggie of chamomile flowers.....it was from a place in Sarnia, Ontario but I am not sure exactly where.  It just seems so much fresher when you can recognize it by sight.... In June while on vacation I found a tea store selling hand tied leaves.  What a fantastic aroma of jasmine.  It is the Madame Butterfly tea by Capital Teas (www.capitalteas.com).  It was very expensive and I just couldn't afford it but they certainly had lots of great teas. My most recent vacation in Florida found me in the Spice and Tea Exchange (www.spiceandtea.com) where I purchased a small bag of loose leaf hazelnut cookie tea.  Ceylon black base so not my usual herbal but wonderful smell and tastes very rich.  An enjoyable tea....
