Week 2: Monday-Thursday

Day 5:  NO spending day.  It was a quiet Monday.

Day 6:  I spent approx $6.00 to fill a prescription.
I should probably update you on another goal I had for this year.  I have been trying to make it to the gym twice a week since January.  It doesn't seem like a big goal but some weeks it is tough. Truthfully I haven't made it even once in the last  two weeks but I got back on track today with a bootcamp class at the YMCA I go to.  Although I am not noticing much difference in my weight or how I look I have noticed a substantial difference in how I feel......GREAT!  I am also hoping it will translate into an improved softball season. I may never be in the shape I was at 20 again but I can certainly try and be closer than I am now.
Today was also lunch date day.....my coworker brought pulled pork sandwiches with carrot stick and cherry tomatoes.  She also made chocolate peanut butter squares....ummm delicious.  I will have to get that recipe.  So now that ball is in my court I need to come up with something for lunch date day next week.  Anyone have any ideas?

Day 7:  I was hungry and lazy....a terrible combination for not spending.  So I went out for sushi and spent $17.00.  If it's any consolation I went to the gym after....

Day 8:  Again I didn't feel like cooking. This time I had McDonalds which is just a terrible choice all the way around and I paid $5.74 for it.  I actually read about a month ago on an app called Fitness Pal that a Big Mac meal is about 1200 calories and so loaded with fat....ugh

My Cup O Tea

Over the years I have become a fan of tea.  My favourites are non-caffeine.  Green Teas, herbal teas and rooibus.  Almost any loose leaf tea will do.  I once got chamomile tea from a friends parents and it was really just a whole baggie of chamomile flowers.....it was from a place in Sarnia, Ontario but I am not sure exactly where.  It just seems so much fresher when you can recognize it by sight.... In June while on vacation I found a tea store selling hand tied leaves.  What a fantastic aroma of jasmine.  It is the Madame Butterfly tea by Capital Teas (www.capitalteas.com).  It was very expensive and I just couldn't afford it but they certainly had lots of great teas. My most recent vacation in Florida found me in the Spice and Tea Exchange (www.spiceandtea.com) where I purchased a small bag of loose leaf hazelnut cookie tea.  Ceylon black base so not my usual herbal but wonderful smell and tastes very rich.  An enjoyable tea....
