Spring Cleaning


Whew,  Well that finishes Semana Santa and now back to a more relaxed slow pace......

It is also time for spring cleaning...lighten up the load.  Toxins included....

......time to work on my hobbies and other projects for the year.  I have some exciting things I am looking forward to doing this season....a kids tumbling class, a new yoga mat bag......all starting very soon. 
 I have some company coming but will consider where exactly I would like to spring clean....where are the cobwebs?

My Cup O Tea

Over the years I have become a fan of tea.  My favourites are non-caffeine.  Green Teas, herbal teas and rooibus.  Almost any loose leaf tea will do.  I once got chamomile tea from a friends parents and it was really just a whole baggie of chamomile flowers.....it was from a place in Sarnia, Ontario but I am not sure exactly where.  It just seems so much fresher when you can recognize it by sight.... In June while on vacation I found a tea store selling hand tied leaves.  What a fantastic aroma of jasmine.  It is the Madame Butterfly tea by Capital Teas (www.capitalteas.com).  It was very expensive and I just couldn't afford it but they certainly had lots of great teas. My most recent vacation in Florida found me in the Spice and Tea Exchange (www.spiceandtea.com) where I purchased a small bag of loose leaf hazelnut cookie tea.  Ceylon black base so not my usual herbal but wonderful smell and tastes very rich.  An enjoyable tea....

August 2017: No More Practice Journal

Taking a break after setting up for August. Lovin' life at the beach. He knew just what I wanted. At the end of the rainbow! Where the butterflies fly and the habit trackers track... There's a bi-weekly vertical dutch door set up with lots of list space on the other side.  I have a number of items that happen every week and being a bullet journal, meant to be about productivity, I really don't want to write them every week. They fit great in the left margin. These are the beginning of some collections I am working on for the year.   The @ is for my websites page views and blog post dates.  The yoga man is for tracking my teacher hours, but I have not figured out how to create something to color here and incorporate the information I want to keep.  Like me on facebook:  onawhimnicaragua .
