June 2017 Bujo Style

Welcome to my June 2017....


As you see my style and setup keeps changing.  I still haven't found one I like.   I am also working on some collections.  I experimented again with a doodle a day....fruit this month.  I realize now, I do not know how to draw 31 different fruit. So for next month I will go find a doodle a day type challenge.

This journal has one more month in July and then it will be full....I already have this one ready to setup for August....just organizing and figuring out the best way to have a go at it.


 

Stay tuned....for July 2017 coming up...that will be month 4 of this journey...never made it this far with a journal, forging new ground.

700 Hours of Learning....start now!

Here goes I am embarking on a two year adventure into myself and the world around me through yoga, massage, coaching and other modalities.  With this journey comes a great reading list and journaling.  This is not something I have ever been able to keep up, with much regularity, as you can see from my posts here.....lol One day I may succeed as I continue to practice for the next two years. I have received the reading list and am happy to have just finished Yoga Sequencing:  Designing Transformative Yoga Classes by Mark Stephens.  This book was suggested to me and for obvious reason, it is incredibly informative.  As a beginning yoga teacher it provided great pictures and foundations for infinite classes that I am now able to create.  It will continue to be on my bookshelf as an excellent reference,and I could reread it still getting useful information a second or third time.  Now I will delve further into this genre of reading with Yoga Anatomy by L...

My Cup O Tea

Over the years I have become a fan of tea.  My favourites are non-caffeine.  Green Teas, herbal teas and rooibus.  Almost any loose leaf tea will do.  I once got chamomile tea from a friends parents and it was really just a whole baggie of chamomile flowers.....it was from a place in Sarnia, Ontario but I am not sure exactly where.  It just seems so much fresher when you can recognize it by sight.... In June while on vacation I found a tea store selling hand tied leaves.  What a fantastic aroma of jasmine.  It is the Madame Butterfly tea by Capital Teas (www.capitalteas.com).  It was very expensive and I just couldn't afford it but they certainly had lots of great teas. My most recent vacation in Florida found me in the Spice and Tea Exchange (www.spiceandtea.com) where I purchased a small bag of loose leaf hazelnut cookie tea.  Ceylon black base so not my usual herbal but wonderful smell and tastes very rich.  An enjoyable tea....
